I'm Ben, Polar Chef. I've lived up here for 20 years — from Svalbard to Lofoten. I know the fishers, the farmers, the foragers. The ones who actually live this life. And I want to introduce you to them. You bring your camera. I'll bring the location, the timing, and the story.
Pickup is included. We come to you, build the evening around where you're staying, and finish when you're home. From late May to July, the sun doesn't set. The light never stops. And we go where it lands best.
Along the way, we visit local producers — Lofoten Seaweed, Tangstad Hvalkjøtt, Lofoten Gårdsysteri, Åland Gård, Lofoten Product, or Ballstad with Nic Haug Fish. It depends on the day. But the focus is always the same: the people, their craft, and their place in Lofoten.
Our Polar Bites travel with us — prepared fresh at Jordbærpikene Café. We'll find a good spot, stop, take it in, and taste the food with the midnight sun in front of us. This isn't a polished tour. It's a real evening in Lofoten. Good food. Good people. A little magic.

Good to know
Bring a camera, comfortable layered clothing, and sturdy footwear suitable for outdoor stops on uneven ground. Share any allergies or dietary preferences when booking so the tasting can be prepared accordingly. This seasonal tour runs from late May to July; outside this period, consider the Lofoten Photo Tour year-round or the Northern Lights Tour from September to March. Bookings close 24 hours before the start time. Private groups are available on request. Photography guidance is provided by the guide, and the itinerary is flexible, with stops chosen according to the light and conditions.
