Norwegian Wild Salmon Centre (Kvåsfossen) – Discover the salmon’s journey

Norwegian Wild Salmon Centre offers a unique insight into the life cycle of wild salmon, from the ocean to the spawning grounds. The main attraction is the fish ladder, built inside the mountain, where—if you're lucky—you can watch the salmon swimming upstream.

According to local folklore, a troll once placed a massive boulder in the waterfall to gain better access to the salmon.
