You will get the feeling of floating above the lake while being surrounded by tall tree crowns and a hilly terrain!With your own lake at your doorstep, you have excellent opportunities for swimming. The lake is deep, so you can jump in straight from shore. During winter, you get an enchanting view, and you have both a bonfire and good chairs available for those crispy cold nights.Be aware that our igloos have no electricity or running water.   <p>45 minutes outside Oslo by car, or accessible by public transportation in an hour, you can stay in this cozy igloo in Aurskog and have the forest all to yourself.Spruce trees are dominating the vegetation, but the igloo is placed in an open landscape. You might just wake up to see a moose peacefully enjoying the sunrise, as this area has a high density of Norway&rsquo;s national animal.You will check in with the host at a farm close by, and from there have an easy walk of 15 minutes into the forest to find the igloo. The farm in which you check in is an alpaca farm, so if your heart beats for these fascinating animals, an alpaca walk can be a perfect activity to combine with a stay in the igloo.Be aware that our igloos have no electricity or running water. You are completely by yourself among birds and squirrels, 5 meters up in the air, with a trickling river right below you and a stone&rsquo;s throw away you will find St&oslash;ylsdalen, a remote dirt road that is world-renowned for its diversity of deer, elk and roe deer. A short walk at dusk can quickly lead to an extraordinary close encounter.</p>
