Snowmobiling at Camp Tamok – Including Transport from Tromso

Begin your Arctic experience with a scenic 90-minute bus ride from Tromsø to Camp Tamok. Once at the camp, you'll be provided with warm winter clothing and receive a full safety briefing before heading out on snowmobiles. Riding in pairs, you’ll explore a remote network of snow-covered trails through open valleys and hillsides, surrounded by dramatic Arctic scenery.

Halfway through the ride, drivers and passengers will switch so everyone has the chance to experience both roles. The snowmobile ride typically covers a distance of 15 to 20 km and lasts around 1.5 to 2 hours, though this can vary depending on weather and trail conditions.

After the ride, unwind in a traditional Sámi-style tent (lavvu) and enjoy a warm meal before returning to Tromsø by bus. The full experience lasts approximately 6.5 hours, offering both action and comfort in the heart of Arctic Norway.
