RIB trip to Rødøy from Meløy

Set course for Rødøy by RIB from Ørnes in Meløy and experience a stretch of coastline characterized by islands, islets, and mountains rising from the sea. This tour is perfect for those who want to see more of the Helgeland coast from the water. Along the way, you’ll feel the speed of the RIB and watch the landscape shift between the archipelago and open sea. Rødøya is known as a fairy-tale island with its chalk-white beaches and the Rødøyløva rock formation. Upon arrival at Rødøy, you can hike to the top of Rødøyløva.

Rødøyløva is one of Helgeland’s most famous and beautiful mountain hikes, and Northern Norway’s first national tourist trail. The hike is 1.5 km each way with an elevation gain of 443 meters. You’ll enjoy a fantastic view of the beautiful coastal landscape, from the Lofoten Wall in the north to Vega in the south.

If you’d rather not hike up to Rødøyløva, you can walk around the island, visit Eventyrskogen, or take a hike to Storsanden for a refreshing swim at the beach.

You can also enjoy food and drinks at Klokkergården before returning to Ørnes.
