The tour begins at Thon Hotel, where you will be provided with warm winter clothing before setting off. Riding in pairs per snowmobile, we travel across the vast winter landscape, hoping to witness the mesmerizing dance of the aurora. Along the way, we take a break to enjoy a warm cup of coffee and cake, a perfect moment to warm up and take in the tranquility of the Arctic night.
Winter temperatures average around -20°C, but can drop as low as -45°C, making proper clothing essential. This snowmobile adventure offers a unique opportunity to explore the Arctic wilderness up close while chasing one of nature’s most fascinating light displays.

Good to know
Please note that there needs to be a minimum of 6 paricipants for the tour to be conducted
Available from December 1 to March 30. Minimum 6 participants, maximum 40. The tour lasts approximately 5 hours, including time to change into proper gear. Price: 3,295 NOK per person (additional 1,000 NOK for solo riding). Recommended clothing: Wool base layers, wool socks, mittens, scarf, and hat. Guests must bring their own camera equipment to capture the Northern Lights. Sami food and hot and cold drinks available for purchase.
