Herøy – Guided Evening Kayak Tour

This guided kayak tour takes you onto the water in the late evening hours, when the light softens and the horizon glows with warm tones. From the sea, you’ll have scenic views of Lovund island and the striking mountain formations of Dønnamannen and the Seven Sisters—iconic landmarks along the Helgeland coast.

The tour begins at 21:00, where you'll meet your guide for equipment handout and a short briefing. Beginners are offered stable tandem kayaks, while more experienced paddlers will use single kayaks. The route heads out towards Seløy or Herøysundet, depending on weather and conditions.

Evening tours often mean fewer boats on the water and a peaceful atmosphere to enjoy the Arctic light. While calm waters and evening sun can’t be guaranteed, many evenings offer truly tranquil paddling. The tour finishes back on land by midnight.
