Experience the heart of the Norwegian fjords from the most awe-inspiring perspective possible on our Lysefjorden RIB-Safari. Departing from the central Stavanger city harbor, you’ll head out on a high-speed RIB into the open sea, feeling the freedom of its vast expanse, the wind blowing through your hair as you zoom past islets, skerries and reefs.
Entering the Lysefjord, you’ll have a front-row seat to its dramatic landscape where towering mountains, adorned with lush green forests and cascading streams, rise sharply from pristine waters. We’ll give you a guided tour of its wonders, taking you right up close to hidden caves, gargantuan waterfalls, and the 604-meter-tall Preikestolen—also known as Pulpit Rock—one of the most famous cliffs in the world.

Good to know
- This tour is suitable for children aged five and up. Provided you're in good health, there’s no real maximum age for joining, the oldest passengers we’ve had along were well past their ninetieth birthday and they had a great time. Skimming the waters on a RIB is exhilarating, but not extreme.
- We would however caution against participating for the following individuals:
1) Persons with severe pre-existing neck or back conditions.
2) Pregnant women beyond their first trimester.
3) Individuals diagnosed with osteoporosis or other conditions that result in brittle bones.
If you’re arriving in Stavanger on a cruiseship, you have nothing to worry about when booking with us. We provide full refunds if your ship fails to berth and will reschedule your tour if your ship is delayed. We also monitor cruise itineraries and will never allow you to miss the back-onboard time of your ship.
