Flavours of the World on the Streets of Oslo—A Food Walk from Klosterenga to Møllergata

Oslo has been shaped by people from all over the world—and this is clearly evident in the city’s food culture, architecture, and urban life. On this walking tour, you’ll experience how different cultures have left their mark on the capital through flavors, stories, and vibrant neighborhoods.

The tour begins at Klosterenga, one of Oslo’s newest parks, and continues through Grønland toward the city center, passing through some of Oslo’s most innovative and diverse neighborhoods. Along the way, we’ll make several stops where you’ll enjoy a variety of culinary experiences inspired by different parts of the world, while the guide shares stories about the neighborhoods’ development and cultural history.

Sometimes we’ll enjoy the food standing up, other times we’ll sit down for a more leisurely break—just as city life unfolds in these neighborhoods. The route may vary slightly from one tour to the next, giving each tour its own unique character and room for little surprises.

The experience takes place on foot with several stops along the way and is best suited for participants in generally good physical condition.
