During the summer season, the traditional M/S Fæmund II takes you along Femunden – Norway’s “inland sea.” Covering 203 km² and stretching 60 km in length, Femunden is Norway’s second-largest lake. On board, you can enjoy panoramic views of the beautiful Femundsmarka National Park. The journey can also be combined with hiking and outdoor activities in and around Femundsmarka, using the various stopover points. M/S Fæmund II has a capacity of 100 passengers.
We take great pride in serving traditional dishes made from locally sourced ingredients during your journey on Femunden. The region’s climate causes raw materials to grow slowly, resulting in rich and truly unique flavors – tastes that have made the Røros region one of Norway’s leading destinations for local cuisine. On board, you can enjoy a selection of local specialties.

Good to know
Departures are daily at 09:00 from 13 June to 9 August. The tour lasts 6 hours and 30 minutes, except on Saturdays between 27 June and 9 August, when the duration is 8 hours and 15 minutes.
