If you are a skilled paddler and are looking for some solitary time in nature, Fjord Expedition’s fjord kayaking adventure would be perfect. This is not a guided tour, so you can spend a beautiful morning in Stavanger by paddling in the Lysefjord, admiring the stunning scenery surrounding the fjord.
The tour organizer will provide you with all the necessary items you need for a great kayaking experience. You can venture into the adventure as soon as you pick your equipment. As you will be out on your own, you can plan your day as per your requirements. For instance, if you want to hike to the mountains nearby, you can plan your hike the way you want.
As the experience is going to be very fulfilling, some guests also prefer to rent out tents and spend the night enjoying the scenic views. You can extend your stay for up to ten days and rent a tent and other essentials to make your stay more comfortable.

Though both single and double kayaks are available on rent, the organizers hire single kayaks only to those with certified rescue skills (NPF, BCU, ACA, EPP or other recognized National Kayaking Association). Solo paddlers can rent double kayaks.
