Join us for a walk into the forest, where the alpaca girls graze freely around you as you enjoy a simple yet delicious alpaca lunch. We take our time to admire these exotic animals while learning more about them and how to interact with them up close. Later, we visit our three alpaca boys, who are eager to join us for a gentle stroll. The entire experience lasts about 2 hours and is suitable for both adults and children.

At Straumen Gård, idyllically located between fjord and mountains on Helgeland, you are invited to a peaceful experience with alpaca lunch and an alpaca walk. Here, you can slow down and let nature and the curious alpacas create a moment of calm and presence.

A short path from the parking area leads into the Alpaca Forest, where you will be greeted by the farm’s friendly alpaca girls and boys. Around the fire, you can relax while the animals wander freely nearby and enjoy a simple but satisfying meal in peaceful surroundings.

The experience continues with a gentle walk along the fjord with three alpaca boys. The pace is relaxed, allowing plenty of time to connect with the animals, take photos, and enjoy the natural scenery along the way. The alpacas are shared among participants, creating a social and enjoyable experience together.

A warm and peaceful moment in nature – with alpacas, quiet, and time to simply be present.

The experience lasts approximately 2 hours and is suitable for adults and children from 12 years old.

I Ro og Mak ved Straumen gård

Discover a hidden gem in Helgeland's archipelago – Straumen Gård in Utskarpen, 30 kilometers from the Arctic Circle town of Mo I Rana – a small and intimate farmstead where the fjord reflects the mountains and nature embraces you from all sides. In this peaceful setting, you can experience farm life year-round, suitable for day visits or overnight stays for up to 10 guests.

The farm offers accommodation, meeting rooms, local food, and various activities such as alpaca safaris, foraging for wild edibles, birdwatching, fishing both by boat and from land. It also offers subscriptions for growing herbs and vegetables.

Right outside the door, you'll find a large natural outdoor area, perfect for fresh-air breaks, conversations around the fire pit, or simply enjoying the silence and the view.

Take a break from screens – place your phone in the mobile hotel and borrow an old-fashioned camera to capture the moments, in rhythm with nature.
