Experience the Høyt & Lavt climbing park right below the Arctic Circle! We offer activities and challenges for all ages and skill levels.
Høyt & Lavt Krokstrand is Northern Norway's first climbing park, where you can challenge yourself in stunning natural surroundings. The park offers a wide variety of climbing courses and ziplines tailored for both children and adults, ensuring the whole family can join the adventure. With several courses graded by difficulty, there is something for every taste and ability.
When visiting the climbing park, you can expect an exciting day filled with achievement and fun. The courses are color-coded to make it easy to choose the right challenge, from easy to demanding. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced climber, you will find activities that provide a sense of freedom and adrenaline. There are also great opportunities to climb together with friends or family, making the experience even more memorable.
The climbing park is open every day during the summer holidays from 11:00 to 17:30. We recommend pre-booking tickets to secure your spot. With a weight limit of 120 kg and specific height and age requirements for the different courses, it is important to check these before your visit. Høyt & Lavt Krokstrand is a perfect activity for groups, schools, and families looking to create lasting memories together.
Height Requirements & Weight Limit Our courses are color-coded like a ski resort: Orange (easy), light green (slightly difficult), dark green (challenging), and blue (demanding).
The height requirements are:
Orange (Bredek-runden): Over 80 cm.
Green/Dark Green (Andfjellet, Nasa, and Brennheia): Over 110 cm.
Blue (Bolnatinden and Ranelva): Over 140 cm.
Weight limit: 120 kg on all courses.
Supervision:
Children under 6 must be accompanied by an adult in the orange course (either on the ground or up in the course). Most children require an adult to join them in the course.
Children under 6 must be accompanied by an adult up in the green courses.
Children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult up in the blue course. Even if height/age requirements are met, we find that many children have a better experience with a trusted adult nearby. We encourage the whole family to climb together.
