4 days and 3 nights hiking expedition with 2 nights in a lodge and 1 night in a tent.
All meals are included, from dinner on day 1 until breakfast on day 4. Transport is included between the lodge and the hiking area, as well as to and from Lakselv Airport. Pick-up in Alta is available on request at an additional cost. It is possible to bring one of our husky on the expedition.
Escape into nature and uncover the fascinating stories of our area. Whether you're seeking an enriching hike or looking for a route to explore the unique landscapes of Porsanger, our guide will take you on an unforgettable journey through our beautiful mountains, with a night under the Norwegian sky.
Day 1: Arrival and preparing
After we pick you up at Lakselv Airport, your adventure begins with check-in at your accommodation. We then visit our dog kennel and prepare the equipment for the trip. You will spend the night in our historic lodge in Børselv.
Day 2-3 : Hiking expedition
After a restful night, we set off to explore the surrounding Arctic nature. Your guide will share insights about the local flora, fauna, and the unique landscapes of the area. Depending on conditions, we may bring one or two dogs along for the expedition.
At the end of the day, we set up camp and enjoy a dinner made with local ingredients before spending the night in a tent in the heart of the Arctic wilderness.
The following morning, we hike back to Børselv, where you will spend an additional night in our lodge. This evening includes a shared dinner with your guide before departure the next day.
Day 4: Departure
After breakfast, we may return to the kennel for a final goodbye to the dogs if you wish. You will then be transferred back to Lakselv Airport for your departure.
The trip is also suitable for families, and children who are used to hiking are welcome to join. We adapt the tour to the group, weather, and conditions. It is also possible to combine the tour with a visit to our husky kennel, and, if conditions allow, try sledding on wheels.

- You are eligible to receive a full refund of the booking amount if you cancel your reservation at least 30 days before the scheduled start time.
It is also possible to combine the tour with a visit to our husky kennel, and, if conditions are right, you may try dog sledding on wheels.
Extra days and nights can be added to the trip.
