Stroll in the company of alpacas through magnificent, tranquil surroundings and let nature fill you with peace.
At Straumen Gård, nestled between fjord and mountains on Helgeland, you can enjoy a peaceful encounter with curious alpacas – a moment filled with presence, tranquility, and authentic farm charm. Here, you can slow down and let nature and the animals fill the moment.
Just by the parking area, a trail leads into Alpaca Forest. The hosts will guide you along the path, and right at the entrance you’ll meet the farm’s curious alpaca girls and boys. The gentle, friendly presence of these enchanting animals, combined with the calm of the forest, immediately helps you relax.
Around the fire, you can wrap yourself in soft, warm blankets and enjoy freshly baked sveler with jam and hot coffee or cocoa, while the curious alpaca girls wander peacefully nearby. A small moment filled with calm, nature, and presence – perfect for catching your breath and truly enjoying the experience.
Once you’ve enjoyed your sveler and drink, the adventure continues with a gentle walk along the fjord with the alpaca boys. The pace is relaxed, with plenty of time for photos, petting the animals, and taking in the surrounding nature.
You can choose to have your own alpaca or share the experience with others.

The experience lasts approximately two hours and is suitable for both adults and children (from 12 years).
Guests staying on the farm have free access to Alpaca Forest for meals and relaxation, and can also book a private walk with the alpacas.

The experience lasts approximately 120 minutes and is suitable for all age groups. Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult. A maximum of 12 participants are allowed per tour, with up to three alpacas present. Up to three different groups per tour

Discover a hidden gem in Helgeland's archipelago – Straumen Gård in Utskarpen, 30 kilometers from the Arctic Circle town of Mo I Rana – a small and intimate farmstead where the fjord reflects the mountains and nature embraces you from all sides. In this peaceful setting, you can experience farm life year-round, suitable for day visits or overnight stays for up to 10 guests.
